It seems that everyone has somewhere they need or want to be during the winter months.

Some people are looking to escape the cold and the snow. Others are traveling to see family and friends for one of the many holidays this winter. Still others are just using the few days off they have each year and traveling to some place new. If you don’t have concrete travel plans, you might want to check out some of these new and emerging travel destinations.

Many of the typical places tend to be overcrowded and not really as relaxing as they should be. But if you truly want an adventure without all of the people, you might want to check out a place that isn’t as popular. According to Travel Lemming, an online travel website, there are 30 up and coming travel destinations that are sure to be hidden gems.

Navarre Beach, Florida, is a must see spot to beat the cold weather. You’ve probably never heard of it, but it is probably one of the best hidden gem beaches on the whole east coast. Since you haven’t heard of it, you can guess others haven’t either. And that is what makes Navarre Beach so perfect. Families can surf, snorkel, and just lay out without having to deal with people laying right next to you.

Looking for more of a wine adventure? Paso Robles is the new Napa! Nestled in the foothills of California, Paso Robles is home to hundreds of wineries on par with some of the best wineries in the world. Paso Robles is also home to a budding art scene. The Sculpterra Winery is an excellent mix of wine tasting and modern art, second to the amazing sculptures in Australia.

Colorado Springs, the lesser known city in Colorado, is definitely a hidden gem. With its proximity to Rocky Mountains and other natural scenery and parks, Colorado Springs is a beautiful place to relax without all of the crowds and cool kids.

Whichever route you choose, get out and explore your world for hidden gems and beat the crowds.
