Tyra will be lifting the veil of the beauty community
Tyra Banks is someone who needs no introduction. She has been in the entertainment, beauty, fashion, etc. industries for as long as we can remember, and she recently graced the cover of Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition as the oldest cover model ever featured (and she looks amazing!).
Now, Tyra and her smizing are in the news for an altogether different reason: the launch of a new docu-series that aims to “expand and redefine the definition of beauty.”
When she came out of modeling retirement for the Sports Illustrated cover, she took that as an opportunity to create a show simply titled “Beauty” that she hopes to use as a platform to challenge why we accept certain beauty parameters as we do.
Tyra recently made a statement that noted, “As I look into the future, I see radical changes both in how people ‘attain beauty’ and how the world perceives beauty.”
While we do not yet know when the awaited docu-series will be released, we know with Tyra behind it we are sure to be entertained and to learn more about the beauty industry than ever before.
