One Direction 10 year anniversary reunion in the works

Liam Payne went on Instagram Live Sunday with DJ Alesso to talk about their new music including their new collaborative single “Midnight” but addressed some questions about One Direction. Payne hinted that One Direction is considering a reunion and dropped some cryptic details.

Fans have speculated the reunion of One Direction as the band’s 10th anniversary is only months away and Zayn Malik can also be joining in on the reunion. Zayne broke ties with the band after his departure in 2015 but last weekend fans saw that all the band members and the official One Direction Twitter page followed Zayn Malik.

When searching One Direction on Google, Zayn is no longer listed as an “ex-member” of the band and is listed as “vocals.” Liam also shared some new developments surrounding the possible reunion.

Liam revealed that his is speaking with Niall and is working on arranging a FaceTime session with all the band members since most of them live in London. Liam also said he couldn’t say too much on the possible project because he got told off by Louis.

Apple Music is also offering all five One Direction albums on the music platform and the 1D official website is reactivated after the band’s hiatus since 2016. Liam also hinted that the group is working on more ongoing projects that he has to keep under wraps for now.

Liam said that One Direction might do a special Zoom social-distancing performance but is working out how that would work.
