Uh, Did Rihanna Just Tell Us She’s Pregnant?

Or am I just trying to manifest this idea into reality?

She may not be giving us new music, but could Rihanna be telling us she’s gifting to the world a child?

At the 5^th Annual Diamond Ball, where she was attending and performing, she may have dropped a few Easter Eggs in a brief interview Essence Magazine. Or we’re seemingly reading way too far into a very innocent comment about the basics of genetics and reproduction, but a girl can dream, can’t she?

“I’m a black woman, I came from a black woman, who came from a black woman, who came from a black woman and I’m going to give birth to a black woman,” she said. So yes, could mean nothing, or could very much mean SOMETHING.

She continued in her interview saying “my mother is an incredible example of how to fight through obstacles in life… we are impeccable, we’re special. We’re special and the world is going to have to deal with that.”

Rihanna throws the ball every year in support of the Clara Lionel Foundation, a foundation she started in honor of her late grandparents. The mission of the foundation is to support global efforts providing education and emergency response systems for children around the world.

Joining her was Seth Meyers, who hosted the ball and night of performances, as well as Pharrell Williams and DJ Khaled.

It’s impossible to say whether the glow she was sporting was from pregnancy or the enormous support she received for her event or just the natural beauty of Queen RiRi. Either way, we hope she is living her best life, pregnant or not.
