The Perfect Lipstick Look

Lipstick can be the exclamation point on the sentence of your look.

You get your outfit just right. You have Googled the perfect makeup tutorial and are completely satisfied with your new smokey eye look. Your clothes fit perfect. You have on accessories that set off your own natural beauty and accent your outfit like nothing else. Now for the finishing touch- lipstick.

The perfect lipstick look isn’t as simple as just picking the right color. Too bright and it takes away from your makeup. Not enough lipstick and it makes your look incomplete and detracts from your natural beauty. With this makeup routine, you can make sure that your lipstick looks perfectly kissable and accentuates you in all of the right ways.

The first step is concealer. Applying Just a little bit of concealer with your finger around your lips and mouth can smooth over the surface. Putting concealer directly on your lips can also create a longer lasting effect for the lipstick.

Next you apply your lipstick. Faces is a good brand for lipstick and one that I highly recommend. Keep in mind, if you have cool undertones in your face, you can get away with a brighter lipstick. If you have warmer undertones, you should stay closer to darker and deeper colors. Start with a lip liner to trace the outline of your lips. If you don’t have a lip liner or if you’re pinched for time, you can use a lip filler to trace the outline prior to putting on the lipstick. If you want fuller and bigger lips, you can trace just outside of your normal lip line. You can now finally put on your lipstick.

To finish off the look, use some face powder to blend in the new lipstick with the makeup that is on your face. Finally, you can have the best looking lipstick possible for your next big night out or special occasion where you just want a little something extra.
