Katie Holmes admitted that maybe her and her daughter actually grew up together.

Many people think that being a celebrity is easy. Have everything done for you, have all of the nicest things, and your job is literally to be a famous actor or actress. But there is more to that in being a celebrity parent. Sometimes, it may seem that celebrities don’t actually grow up until they have kids.

In case you don’t own a TV or didn’t know that there was a device that had moving pictures, Katie Holmes is a famous actress, producer, and director. She is best known for her hit role as Joey Porter in the award winning show, ‘Dawson’s Creek.’ Since then, she has starred in numerous films including ‘The Gift’ and ‘Batman Begins.’ But if asked what her greatest role was, she would probably say being a mother.

But Katie Holmes probably owes a lot to her daughter Suri as well. Suri was born in 2006 to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes when Katie was in mid twenties. While that may not seem that young, Katie Holmes admits that her daughter actually helped her to grow up and in fact, they probably grew up together. “Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match,” the 40-year-old actress said in an interview with Elle UK.

Katie and her daughter already have a connection, a mother-daughter bond that comes naturally with any child, but this is different. Katie Holmes has always made time to create memories with her daughter. It may have something to do with Katie Holmes raising Suri alone after her and Tom Cruise split. But as much as she has taught Suri, Katie also admits that having her has forced her to grow up and become a better person- accepting who she is and being happy with her life and everything she has accomplished.
