Credit: GoDairyFree

Raw cakes just got competition.

Almond truffles with coconut will convince you that vegan food tastes better than you ever imagined. And what’s even better, you don’t need to bake anything; just mix the ingredients and voila! Your new favorite go-to dessert is here!

Ingredients *for eight people

1 cup = 250 ml

1 cup minced blanched almonds

1 cup coconut flavor

1/3 cup almond butter

2 spoons of maple syrup

1 spoon of vanilla extract

Extra shredded unsweetened coconut

Step 1

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with a spatula. Blend the ingredients until they form a crumbly paste.

Step 2

Use a teaspoon to take out the mixture and roll it into balls with your hands.

Each tiny ball is about 12 grams, but you can make them smaller or bigger. That’s up to you.

Once you are done, put all the balls in a baking tray.

Step 3

Pour 1/4 cup of shredded unsweetened coconut into the pan and roll each ball into it.

Leave them back in a baking tray or place them in a box, close and leave in a cool place, or refrigerate for the balls to tighten.

Step 4

Before serving, place them in paper baskets.
