BBQ Chicken Corn Dogs
Put a plate of these smoky suckers out during a party, and watch them magically disappear.

Ingredients
BBQ Chicken Logs
- 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breasts Shredded
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce
Batter
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Corn Meal
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 4 tspn Baking Powder
- 1/2 tspn Salt
- 1/4 tspn Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Milk
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add the shredded chicken breasts and the bbq sauce and mix well.
- Use a spoon to scoop the chicken meat on to a greased pan (or parchment paper), shaping them in to individual logs.
- Stick a wooden chopstick or pop-sickle stick inside each chicken log and freeze.
- In a mixing bowl, add the flour, corn meal, sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground black pepper mix well.
- Add in the egg and milk and mix until a thick batter forms.
- Pour the batter into a cup deep enough to be able to fit one entire chicken log.
- Prepare and preheat deep fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Hold the frozen chicken log by the stick and dip into the batter, making sure to coat the entire log. Gently place into deep fryer until golden brown.
