Inclusivity is the trend in fashion these days.

Body positivity and self love movements are breaking the traditional views of fashion by allowing all genders, body types, and skin tones to be free to express themselves without having to accept what society has given them for the last 20 years. A new line of makeup is bringing inclusivity to a market that has felt this frustration for years.

Orcé is like nothing else on the market today. Many traditional western makeup foundations have pink undertones to highlight fair skin while most foundations for Asians have a whiter foundation to match the softer skin tones. Most will end up settling for a “close enough shade” or will combine multiple different foundations to try to get the desired effect. There is no makeup that caters directly to Asian Americans – until now.

Yu-Chen Shih, founder of Orcé Cosmetics, started the company to solve her, and many Asian Americans, makeup woes. The goal was simple; create a brand that celebrated Asian Americans while optimizing the unique demands of their skin. Orcé Cosmetics is different because it utilizes a golden and warmer undertones that pairs perfectly with the Asian skin tone.
