Most setting sprays are in the name but the best kind of setting spray is actually a mist and Tarte’s new product utilizes bag-on-valve technology to produce a mist spray without environmentally harmful aerosol. Tarte offers two sizes with the bigger option (2.87 fl. oz.) for $23 and a smaller TSA-approved travel-size bottle (1.01 fl. oz.) for $12.
The new mist setting spray is weightless and helps prevent your makeup from smudging, cracking, smearing, caking, and fading for 12-hour wear time. It’s also a great product to refresh your skin and won’t bead on your foundation for finished makeup.
The formula of the new mist features natural ingredients including maracuja oil, papaya extract, rose water, and cucumber water. The marajuca and papaya extract brighten the skin for a smooth and firm appearance. The cucumber and rose water help to soothe the skin and maintain pH balance. This mist setting spray is apart of Tarte’s marajuca collection that also features a tinted moisturizer, tartegard sunscreen lotion, glossy lip oil, concealer, oil, eye treatment, face balm, and waterproof makeup remover wipes.
