Healthy Vegetarian Dessert Recipe With Bananas And Chocolate

Banana Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Bites

One of the easiest vegetarian desserts you can make, all you'll need is some bananas and chocolate chips.

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Mini Cupcake Pan
  • Silicone Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 4 sliced Bananas (frozen, fresh or pre-frozen)
  • 1 bag Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions
 

  • Place frozen bananas in the food processor and blend until banana puree forms into a thick ice cream consistancy.
  • Add mini chocolate chips gradually and mix.
  • Once done adding desired amount of mini chocolate chips, scoop the blended mixture into the cupcake pan.
  • Sprinkle additional mini chocolate chip on the top of each scoop.
  • Place in freezer for one hour, until the scoops thicken.
  • Check to see if the ice cream bites are solid, then pop out of the bites out of the pan.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For the frozen bananas you can slice fresh bananas and freeze or you can get frozen sliced bananas from the frozen section of your grocery store. This is also a great pre-made option for a banana and chocolate smoothie, store in the freezer and throw into the blender for a nice smoothie or vegetarian milkshake.
