One of the biggest reasons that lead to the end of any relationship is money.

Even if you and your partner are trying to budget properly, it is easy to spend money on things that aren’t priority. So, to help you when it comes to you and your partner’s budget, here are a couple of ways you could be wasting money.

We get it, your partner has a birthday or special occasion coming up so you want to go all out. However, you may want to reel that urge to go overboard on gifts back. Instead, let your partner know that you’d be cool with spending a quiet evening at home, instead of celebrating a birthday at an expensive restaurant. With Netflix, Hulu, Spotify and other subscribe-based sites currently available it’s easy to get caught up so you don’t feel like you’re missing out on the latest trend. Even if it’s just magazines, if whatever you’re subscribed to isn’t being used on a daily or hourly basis, cancel it.
