Salted Almond Butter Brownies
Easy, low-carb, and eye-catching; these brownies are a triple threat!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 cup ghee or unsalted butter melted
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 3/4 cup monk fruit sweetener divided
- 3/4 cup superfine almond flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened smooth blanched almond butter
- flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together cocoa powder, ghee, eggs, vanilla, salt, and 3/4 cup of the monk fruit sweetener in a large bowl. Stir in almond flour until thoroughly combined.
- Dump brownie batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper; smooth batter out to edges of pan with your hands. Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted still has moist crumbs, about 18 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting, about 45 minutes.
- While brownies cool, stir together almond butter and remaining 1 tablespoon sweetener in a small bowl. Microwave on HIGH until loose, about 30 seconds. Spread evenly on top of brownies, and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Chill until set, about 15 minutes. Cut into 16 squares.
