It’s Friends vs. The Office and we are here for it!
Matthew Perry has a new girlfriend, Molly Hurwitz. She’s 28, he’s 50, but that’s Hollywood for you. What’s even more interesting is that Hurwitz dated B.J. Novak, writer and actor from The Office. Since people are always arguing about which sitcom is better, The Office or Friends, it’s good to know that these two at least share a taste in women.
As for Perry and Hurwitz, the couple started dating in late 2019. According to Us Weekly, they were spotted at a restaurant in West Hollywood, and the duo celebrated Christmas together in Los Angeles with friends at Perry’s penthouse.
Just last year we heard another story about the romantic life of the famous comedian. Apparently, he always hoped to become more than friends with former Friends costar and longtime pal Courteney Cox. Despite that never happening, Perry dated some talented and gorgeous women, from Yasmine Bleeth to Lizzy Caplan and Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham. We see the pattern: brunettes with blue/green eyes, slim, with a great sense of humor.
On a much less cheerful note, Matthew Perry struggled with substance abuse ever since the third season of the famed sitcom. The Fools Rush In actor is involved with various charities that help people who are dealing with addictions.
During 2019, the 17 Again actor stayed away from the spotlight, until he joined his former Friends costars on Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram debut. Hopefully, Matthew Perry is going to stay sober, and additionally, we’ll get to see more of him on big or small screens. As for the age gap, we are sure Chander Bing would not approve!
