A meal doesn’t have to be crazy detailed to be romantic.

When life is in full motion, it can be difficult to spend the time and the money that it takes to plan a great date night – and especially a date night that revolves around food. It may be true that there is nothing like the taste of food someone else cooked for you, but cooking with your partner can easily become a romantic and flirtatious date night in. But then you have to figure out what to cook, and that’s where we come in.

So what dinner for two should you make at your next at-home date night? For starters, consider a good pasta. This is a staple dish many love, and you can switch up your typical spaghetti-and-meatballs to pasta with eggplant, burrata, and mint.

Another choice if you want to avoid the typical is to make Greek stuffed peppers. With adventurous flavor and a twist on a popular dish, this could become your new go-to.

If pork is you or your partner’s thing, consider making a pork and vegetable salad complete with carrots, parsnips, and golden beets.

Whatever you and your partner choose, be sure to pair it with some essential date night vibes: good music and great conversation.
