Amazon appears to be taking over the world in every industry possible.

It was recently announced that Amazon, king of basically everything retail, would be adding an online professional beauty store to its list of ventures. But this beauty store isn’t what you’d expect, as it’s not just shampoo and hairspray.

This new store within Amazon will target professionals in the beauty industry, like licensed professional stylists, barbers, and estheticians. Instead of having to constantly make runs to stores created for those with a license, beauty pros can now simply log onto Amazon and purchase new supplies from a wide range of options, including brands like Wella Color Charm, RUSK, OPI Professional, and several other supplies that you can generally only purchase in salons and spas.

Amazon released the statement in a blog post, and following the announcement, shares for stores like ULTA Beauty fell as much as 3%. Sally Beauty, a well-known beauty supply retailer that has been around for ages, fell 9%.

To purchase any products from their beauty store, a license will be needed, whether for stylists, barbers, or estheticians.
