Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup milk whole or oat milk works beautifully
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon sugar or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee or 1 shot of espresso
  • Whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for topping

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, combine milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, and pumpkin spice. Warm over medium heat, stirring often, until hot but not boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and whisk in the vanilla extract. If you want that café-style froth, use a hand frother or blend the mixture for a few seconds until it’s foamy.
  3. Pour the coffee or espresso into your favorite mug, then slowly add the pumpkin mixture on top. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Finish with whipped cream and a light dusting of cinnamon.

Notes

For extra richness: add a splash of heavy cream before frothing.
For a twist: drizzle a little caramel sauce over the whipped cream.
For dairy-free: swap in almond, soy, or oat milk. Oat gives the creamiest texture.
