Homemade Iced Mocha

Ingredients

  • ½ cup milk of your choice whole, oat, or almond
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee or 2 espresso shots
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar optional, adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup for topping optional

Method

  1. Brew your coffee or espresso and let it cool for a few minutes. You can also use cold brew if you prefer a smoother taste.
  2. In a glass or shaker, combine chocolate syrup, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir or shake until smooth.
  3. Pour the cooled coffee into the chocolate mixture and stir well so the flavors blend evenly.
  4. Fill a glass with ice, pour in the coffee mixture, and top it with milk. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Add whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup for a café-style touch. Serve immediately.
