Spook Up Halloween With Ogre Eye Cookies

Time for some spooky cookies.

It’s the season for dressing up in scary costumes and eating way more candy than any human being, or little human for that matter, should possibly stomach. But it’s also a time for fun get togethers and party celebrations. What better to get you in the mood, than some Ogre Eye Cookies.

This fun recipe is sure to get the little ones in the mood for the holiday season. The best part of this recipe is that you probably already have the ingredients in your kitchen.

First step is to make the cookie dough. First start off with some softened butter and sugar. Mix the butter and the sugar together thoroughly and then add in some egg yokes, flour, and salt. Make small cookie sized balls of dough and roll them in green sugar sprinkles. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

Now comes the fun part. After you bake them in the oven, take them out and use cut up black licorice to make eyelashes on the cookies. Don’t forget a white chocolate chip for the eye ball. Lastly, put them back in the oven for 3 more minutes until it’s all ooey gooey. Finish it up with a single brown M&M to make the pupil and you are done. One scary orge eye ball cookie.
