Having a child changes everything.

Having a kid changes the car you drive, the size of your house, and how you spend your free time (or rather, just your time in general). Every aspect of your life changes the moment that you find out that you are going to have a baby.

The birth of a child is amazing. Seeing a new baby boy or girl for the first time, or hearing it laugh or cry for the first time. But it’s easy to become overwhelmed about a new child too. This family suddenly found the miracle of child birth all too well. Chad and Amy Kempel were already happy parents to two small children but wanted more.

But for years, Chad and Amy Kempel dealt with infertility and even the death of twins at 22 weeks. But they kept trying and were rewarded with quintuplets. When they found out, they were excited but also a but scared because of all of the hardships that they had faced. Determined not to give up, they pushed forward and were completely ecstatic when they quints were actually born.

Now came the fun part- having seven of everything. But Chad was determined to make this process as streamlined as possible. For feeding time, Chad made a custom table with high chairs built into the top. For many of the hourly bottle feedings, Chad made a custom sling feeder so that each kid could feed, hands free. He made other changes and customization to their family van to allow for diaper changes on the road. After all of his experiences, he made a YouTube channel to help other dads hack parenting.
